Modern Assurance

Overview

Modern Assurance is a boutique CPA firm founded in 2022, registered in the State of Oregon and licensed to provide CPA services across most US jurisdictions. It is an AICPA member and a peer-reviewed firm. The practice was built out of Big 4 IT-audit experience. Managing Director Noelle Gantz spent a decade at Ernst & Young leading SOX ITGC, SOC 1/2/3 and business process engagements before founding the firm. Modern Assurance applies lean-manufacturing principles and AI-assisted tooling to attestation work, with the stated aim of scaling audit quality and service quality at the same time rather than trading one for the other. The firm describes itself as self-standing, with no compliance platform partnerships. Engagements cover SOC 1, SOC 2 and SOC 3, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 42001, CMMC, HIPAA and GDPR, plus AI assurance and financial statement work. Reported delivery is 1 to 7 weeks from fieldwork to report.

Modern Assurance is accredited by AICPA, and listed on the Oregon Board of Accountancy registry. The firm delivers audits and attestations across SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, HIPAA, and GDPR. Client engagements are served across North America. Typical first response to a scoping request is within 24 hours. Engagement fees typically range from €5,000 to €42,000 depending on scope, systems in scope, and audit type. Modern Assurance has been operating since 2022.
